Loutra Edipsou is a pretty resort town on the North coast of the picturesque Greek island of Evia (Euboea). In Greek its name is literally translated as the "baths of Oedipus. Actually, thanks located near Loutra Edipsos thermal springs (there are more than 80), the temperature of which ranges from 28 to 86 degrees, the settlement received its name. The healing properties of these springs are well-known since ancient times, and nowadays they're famous far beyond the borders of Greece.

Today Loutra Edipsou popular modern resort with well-developed tourist infrastructure and is one of the best thermal spas in Greece. To reach Loutra Edipsou simply because there is a regular bus service to the city of Chalkis (capital of Evia). You can also take a taxi or to take the ferry from the port of Arkitsa, located on the mainland (FTHIOTIDA, Greece).
