Huge majestic building of the Grand Master's Palace was built by the architect Girolamo Cassar in 1570-1580. Now here is the office of the President of Malta and the Maltese government.

In the exhibition the Armory of the Palace is more than six thousand items including daggers, rapiers, halberds, pistols, rifles, cannons and armor. In one of the halls of knights in full armor, and the armor, made for the Grand Master, are shown separately.

The state rooms are exquisitely decorated and luxury. Here you can also see many portraits of heads of state, kings and Queens, emperors and empresses, as well as portraits of all the Grand Masters of the order. Inlaid floors recreate their emblems, and paintings on the walls are scenes from the history of the Order of Malta. Conference room decorated with ten Flemish and French tapestries of the XVI-XVII centuries with tropical scenes of South America, India and Africa.
