A. I. Roffe was a rich merchant, and was also the owner of the Guild "Roffe and sons. In the late 19th century, he decided to build on the seafront of Yalta new baths. The project is undertaken by the famous architect Nikolai Krasnov, who had already designed the Grand Livadia Palace. The place for construction of the new facilities, was chosen as the yard of the hotel "France", and in 1897 the construction was completed.

The entrance of the building of baths were decorated with beautiful ceremonial portal, designed in the Moorish style. The facade is decorated with the inscription, taken from the sacred book of Muslims Quran "Be blessed like water", and before the entrance put forth their branches old Magnolia. The basis of the interior design hall baths became a Moroccan style, the walls are made very beautiful plaster moldings.
