Gallery "Smirnoff sources" is located in the city of Zheleznovodsk on the slope of mountain Iron, in the centre of the Spa Park. Smirnoff source is known not only for its medicinal properties, but also an interesting architectural structure. Its main decoration is a colonnade that connects the source with others, named in honor of the people's Commissar of health Semashko.
In the past the site of modern Smirnoff source was a swampy area, representing a hole, through which a thick layer of dirt made its way keys hot mineral water. In 1898, for the 60th anniversary of medical practice Smirnov, in token of his services to the resorts of Caucasian Mineral Waters on the petition of the Russian balneological society, the source was given the name "Smirnoff". In 1926 N. N. Slavyanov near main source was opened two more source: Smirnoff No. 2 and Smirnoff No. 3. In 1930, Kislovodsk architect Pavel Eskov developed by its project combined all three sources in a single graceful gallery, built over each of the pump room.
Gallery "Smirnoff sources" is a monument of architecture, in the style of constructivism. The gallery consists of two rotundas with glass facades that are elegantly linked enfilade. The building fits into the surrounding landscape.
