Building of the Pushkin gallery is located in the town of Zheleznovodsk in the middle of the Spa Park, to the right of the main entrance. The gallery has an interesting and unique history. It was bought for Zheleznovodsk in Nizhny Novgorod at the fair. If in our days, it is quite normal to buy a building and carry it for hundreds of kilometers, in those days it was a unique phenomenon.

The Pushkin gallery, the construction of which was completed in 1901, is an extraordinarily beautiful building constructed of steel and colored stained glass. The frame was made in St. Petersburg and delivered in separate parts by rail. The building has a little more length 85 m, width – about 10, 5 m, the height of the spire is more than 22 m.

The gallery decided to put in a Park, at the foot of Iron mountain. Original architectural forms, a large amount of glass and optimistic blue color Pushkin gallery give the building the appearance of some Royal Palace. The gallery was built fairly quickly, within 1901, Its Grand opening was held in may 1902

Originally the gallery was called the Iron. Its modern name she received in 1903 in honor of the famous poet, praise of the Caucasus. Inside the gallery the day of the 100-th anniversary of A. S. Pushkin's death was a monument to Pushkin by the sea". Quite a long time it was the center of cultural life of local residents. There were such famous artists as Leonid Utesov, V. Komissarzhevskaya, A. Duncan, L. Ruslanova, and I. Kobzon, Alla Pugacheva, E. EHA and many others.

One part of the building of the Pushkin gallery is an auditorium designed for concerts. It is at this stage often held concerts by famous artists. Now it also hosts events, but to get them you must follow the poster. In the second part of the building presents a permanent exhibition of paintings by local artists.
