The temple of the Holy Jovana – a major Orthodox religious buildings in the territory of the modern Bar. The Church was consecrated in honor of St. John Vladimir, the first Serbian ruler in the territory of Montenegro, from here he exercised his rule.

The construction of the Church began almost 20 years ago in the heart of the Bar, near the coastline. The area of the temple will have to be more than one square kilometer, the height of the domes will be about 40 meters. The area of the temple involves not only worship, but also various spiritual and cultural activities, for which he was made a small amphitheatre in the Western part of the temple.

The money, administered by the construction of the temple, collected mainly thanks to the donations of caring people. By the way, in the construction of the temple is attended by many independent organizations. In Russia such was the bell-foundry "Faith", produced for the Church 9 bells. Also contributed to the construction of the temple was made of the St. Petersburg philanthropist and businessman, gave the Montenegrin Church gilt cross with a height of 3 meters – that he will decorate the bell tower of St. Helena.
