Three-nave Cathedral with a 100-meter tower was built in late Gothic style. This huge temple is famous for a long period of construction. From Foundation in 1421, before the end of the arches of the nave has been more than a half century. The top of the tower was rebuilt in 1893.

Especially interesting is the main portal (1490-1500.) of the Cathedral. Impressive reliefs depicting the last judgment. In the rich interior of the Cathedral stand out luxury stained glass Windows.
Near the Cathedral there is an observation deck offering beautiful views of the streets of the city, the river Aare and the mountains.
