Starskie pyramids are among the most popular tourist objects of nature in Bulgaria. They are located near the village Stob, southwestern Rila mountains. These pyramids along with the nearby terrain with an area of 7, 4 ha were officially named natural landmark.

The width of the base of the pyramid reaches 30-40 m, and their height on average 6 to 10 m (in some places up to 12 m). Most beautiful pyramids appear during the sunset or in the moonlight. This natural attraction is not so famous as Melnicka pyramids, although we can say that Stockie pyramids still have a more varied and beautiful forms.

Tourists can view these creations of nature near the village stop the top, climbing on the special nature trail. In addition, you can walk along the country road that meanders close to the mountains along the beautiful river. It offers scenic views of the area: the river, the so-called Rila trough approaches to the local monastery, and snow-capped mountains.
