Village Opocensky Posad is located above the picturesque Borovich thresholds. The status of "Posada" it was granted in 1820, at the same time there was established the self-governing body. The creation of this system is inextricably linked with the construction of the city of St. Petersburg. In Posada was built and equipped a good Marina. Next was the bell tower of three storeys with a spire. The belfry was decorated with chimes.
