Museum-estate "Pruzhany Palace – a monument of architecture of XIX century. The building is built in a very unusual for the Belarusian farmsteads Italian style is a rustic Villa in the style of the early Renaissance. From all sides bright light the Palace is surrounded by a shady Park with a pond and a network of channels through which is spanned by graceful bridges.

The estate belonged to Walenty Chaykovskogo, which she had inherited. The new owner was fascinated by an old Park and started a big change. He tore down the dilapidated wooden house, which was donated in 1795 by Catherine the great field Marshal of the Russian troops, count P. A. Rumyantsev-Zadunaisky, together with the estate. In its place renowned Italian architect Francisco Maria Lanzi, who were invited to Pruzhany, has crafted a magnificent, living in the Palace.

Unfortunately, living in the Palace did not bring happiness to its owners. Walenty Smykowski participated in the uprising of 1863 and was exiled. The estate was described and the procedure dilapidated. Subsequent owners of the estate live, not to repair the lock.

The abandoned castle was noticed only in 1993. Then there was large-scale reconstruction. Was restored not only the Palace, but the old Park. At the moment, the Park area is 8 hectares. The Palace houses the Museum. The exhibition area of 382 square meters. The main exhibition halls: "Salon", "Floral hall", "Armorial hall", "Hunting room", hall of nature, ethnographic hall, exhibition halls, where art exhibitions.

In recent years, living in the Palace was a social and cultural research center. There are concerts, literary events, scientific conferences.
