Photo: Cathedral Of St. Salvator
The Church Of St. Salvator was built as a parish Church, and only in 1834, became the Cathedral of Bruges. The temple was rebuilt many times, was reconstructed and updated. The oldest part of the Cathedral dates from the 12th century. In the interior of the temple of particular interest are the bench choirs, on which are carved the emblems of the knights of the Golden fleece. This order consisted of many European rulers, and officially it was established by Philip the Good in 1430 in Bruges. I can add description
