Drama theatre, located in the city of Burgas is one of the most famous in the country. Today it bears the name Adriana Budevski – outstanding Bulgarian actress and pioneer of professional drama theatre in Bulgaria, lived in the XIX-XX centuries.
Theatrical activity in Burgas started to develop in the last quarter of the nineteenth century, when local teachers showed on stage performances of "Shubina Machine" I.
