The Church of the Holy spirit – the former hospital Church, now the Catholic Church is open to residents of chełmno and guests of the city.

During the first six centuries of its existence, this building housed the hospital of the Church. Both buildings were whole complex is built right at the entrance gate of one of the most important streets.

The Church was built in 1280-1290 years. Data on placement in the hospital building date back to the year 1311. The Church is a rectangular building with a length of 30 meters and a width of 9 metres with a tower on the West side. Gable roof inside is a wooden arch. Arched Windows visually lengthen the temple, and extant openings on the facade indicate once existed buildings near the Church. In the interior of the Church, there are some Gothic images, the oldest of which dates back to the fourteenth century. In one of the pictures shows a scene of the visitation of Mary to Elizabeth and the last Supper.

In 1993 in the Church of the Holy spirit underwent extensive renovations, during which was the replacement of the roof and ceiling of the building. At the present time the Church is open for visiting every year there is a Church of the knights of the exhibition.
