The Park is home to various hill tribes, such as the long-necked Karen, Lisu, Hmong and Akha. Long ago they fled into Northern Thailand from neighboring Burma. These people live in remote places, preserving their way of life many centuries, they know of no electricity, no cellular. Traditionally, the tribes do needlework, such as the manufacture of fabrics, embroidery, silver jewelry and much more.
The deep cave is the business card of the national Park PHA Daeng, a great many underground tunnels situated on its territory. Locals even have a legend that once venerable monk came across this underground labyrinth to the Chiang Mai.
