Convent of the Dormition in Kazimirova is an ancient Christian Shrine, restored in 2002.

The first monastery on this land was founded by monks basiliani in 1713, which invited the Rechitsa podomoro Casimir Yuditskii. Near the monastery grew over time the village, later called Kazimirova, famous for its fairs.

The monastery has kept the miraculous icon of the Mother of God, named Kazimirovskii "Kako helps wives child to bear" fame went far beyond the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. Came women fearing childbirth. After a hot sincere prayers of their births were easy and without complications.

The monastery was founded by the Basilian Mission preaching the word of God and school.

When the Russian tsarist government in 1832 the monastery, and with it, the old icon was returned to the Orthodox Church. Last Kazimirovskii the priest was martyred in 1933 at the hands of the red Commissars, and not renouncing Christian faith.

The restoration of the monastery began after the formation of the Republic of Belarus. Here the nuns, which was referred to as a house of prayer former club, before becoming the club, was a priest's house.

Now, as in ancient times, the monastery receives many pilgrims, asking our lady for the granting Chad. Kazimirovskii monastery, located in a picturesque area, offers a peaceful reflection and prayer. Recently painted the walls of the monastery are famous for their beauty.
