The Church of the assumption of the blessed virgin Mary, or the Church of the ascension of the Holy virgin Mary, in Dyatlovo was built in 1624 on the funds allocated to the outstanding political figure of Lev Ivanovich Sabagay supporting Church Union. In 1646, the Church was rebuilt with funds K. L. Sapieha.

During the fire in 1743, when the fire died the whole village Dyatlovo, the assumption Church was badly damaged by fire. Burned the main altar, the entire Church family archive and burial in the crypt. In 1751 for its restoration was undertaken by the architect Alexander Osievich, who not only rebuilt the Church from the outside, but also undertook the design of its interior. Funds for the restoration of the temple were given by Prince Nicholas Radziwill. After rebuilding, the Church was the nave, two-tower with its stepped facade, designed in the Vilna Baroque style. In the lateral parts of the facade made niches in which the statues of saints Peter and Paul, and of Jesus and Mother of God. Probably the author of these statues is the Krakow sculptor Costello.

In 1882 the Church again suffered during a major fire. It again had to be rebuilt. In the repair process has been replaced the entire roof of the temple. During recovery was also redone the interior. It appeared sculptural and ornamental molding, which is decorated 7 altars.

In 1900 the Church was erected a high fence separating the temple from which emerged spontaneously in the main square of the market. Were built gates and four-sided turret with shaped domes.
