Palace of Prince Masalskoe was built in Grodno in the first half of the XVIII century. Near the Palace was built a miniature version Kamenica Masalskoe.

It is known that originally the Palace was built in the shape of the letter "P" in the plan. Fires 1753 and 1782 severely damaged the building. After the fires it was rebuilt almost from scratch. In its architecture were made later alterations produced during repairs.

The family of Prince Masalskoe was a very ancient and powerful. Masalski participated in the momentous decisions that changed the policies of States. To their opinions monarchs, politicians and statesmen.

The last Prince of the genus Masalskoe who owned this magnificent Palace was Jakub Ignacy Masalsky. The last Prince of the famous family was a sad and terrible death – he was hanged by the rebels in 1794. Jakub Ignacy was a man of vision. He believed that decrepit decrepit state system of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania is unable to defend the integrity of the state. He saw the future of their country in the composition of the mighty Russian Empire, which was contrary to the freedom-loving aspirations of the national movements of that turbulent time.

After the death of Prince Jakub Ignacy can be found here in 1795, the Palace was rebuilt. It has become more fashionable in those years the features of classicism.

In 30-ies of the XIX century the Palace Masalskoe bought by a wealthy Jewish merchant Frumkin. He signed a lucrative contract with the postal office and handed him the building until the beginning of XX century.

Nowadays the Palace Masalskoe was chosen by Belarusian cinematographers. Here was the film "traces of the Apostles".
