One of the architectural attractions of Kaliningrad is a pedestrian bascule bridge over the Pregolya river, which is part of the complex "Fishing village". The opening of the bridge was timed to celebrate the 750 anniversary of the city, in July 2005. The basis for a three-span steel bridge supports are destroyed during the Second world war königsberg Imperial bridge (Kaiser-Brücke). The author of the project of the bridge was made by the architect Alexander Basin.

Jubilee bridge connecting the October and Aronovsky street, has a length of 70 meters and a width of 6 meters. The middle span of the bridge, intended for the passage of small vessels, rises to 24 meters, and the other on 18, 5 meters. Reinforced concrete pedestrian bridge has iron railings with decorative patterns. In addition to the appearance of the complex "Fishing village", stylized pre-war königsberg, the bridge is decorated with tracery lights. Next to the bridge is nice and cosy house, which houses the mechanisms for cultivation of the bridge. To test the strength of the pedestrian bridge were driven two empty KAMAZ, each of which has a weight of eight tons (this is the only case of the passage of cars on this bridge).

Around the bridge is a landscaped embankment of the Park area and cosy coffee shops. In close proximity to the Jubilee bridge are river station, a sports and entertainment center, an observation tower and historic buildings. For residents of Kaliningrad pedestrian bridge is the most romantic place in town, and the shortest way from the island to the city center.
