National Park Khao Lak Lamru got its name due to the two peaks in its territory Lak and Nang Thong beach. It also includes a forest area and the coast. The Park covers an area of 125 sq km, and the maximum height of mountains 1077 m

Originally the territory of Khao Lak Lamru was only on the coast, but in 1974 it was proposed to expand the Park to include the area of forests and mountains, on purpose to protect important catchment areas of the province. On August 30, 1991, Khao Lak Lamru was officially registered as 66th in Thailand national Park.

On its territory there are several impressive waterfalls. Especially popular uses five-level Lam Ru waterfall, which is so powerful that seasonal fluctuations of water is not an obstacle.

The second attendance is waterfall Ton Chong FA. The water falls from a height of 10 meters and forms a natural pool where you can cool off on a hot tropical heat.
