Old St. Peter and St. Paul Church was built in Kobrin in the XV century. Its mention in the Doc 1465.
In those days, when lived in Kobryn field Marshal Suvorov, the Church was located in the city center, not far from the home of the famous military leader. Piety Suvorov widely known. He was a zealous Christian, sang in the Church choir, read the Psalms. In this temple still love and respect keep the Psalter Suvorov says: "to this Psalter sang and read Suvorov".

The name of the famous Russian commander saved the Church in Soviet times from closing and ruin. Only one this temple was spared by the Communists. Worship in it was not stopped for a single day.
