Museum "Wood sculpture" was created by famous sculptor on wood Igor Fartushny in 2008. The Museum is housed in a two storey building in the Western part of the village Jablonov, Kosovo district, Ivano-Frankivsk region. In the opening of the Museum took part the Chairman of the local village Council and representatives of local governments. Head of the Museum is its founder – I. Fartushny.

In the timber sculpture Museum is a permanent exhibition of works on coroplastic. Corneaplasty Fartushny is a combination of love and bitterness, madness and hope, magic and funny, funny and original sin. All of this is individual philosophy, self-expression, his vision of the world. The expressiveness of works of famous masters I. Fartushny requires no thought: they all capture, excite and surprise. However, among the many exhibits there are some that make you think, because it means something big, secret, unknown.

In the collection Fartushny there are hundreds of works. An even larger amount is in the process of treatment. The sculptor is multifaceted: it's a bird, wonder-beasts, real and mythical images of people.

Collected in the Museum of wooden sculptures made from found by the author in a forest of snags, which have not been processed. The main sculptor is nature. For this reason, all products are tinted only with natural colours and not even varnished. Museum visitors also have the opportunity to attend workshops I. Fartushny and get familiar with the process of working on the sculptures.
