The Swan lake is located on the territory of national Park "Hutsulshchyna", 5 kilometres North-West of the village of Sheshory, Kosovo district, Ivano-Frankivsk region and refers to Sheshorys environmental research Department. Diverse nature of the reserve reflected in the local landscape: here you can see the plains, forests, meadows, mountains, swamps, and lake, which is the most famous treasure of the Park.

The lake, with oval-rounded shape and huge size (approximately 100 to 200 meters), is located at an altitude of 650 meters above sea level. The depth of the lake and Swan reaches 28 meters. The inhabitants of this land from time immemorial believed that the lake has no bottom and that it is inhabited by mystical creatures. Legends about this lake, there are many. Naturally, all mystical-tragic. One of them says that in the waters of a wonderful lake and Swan forever joined in love girl and boy, whose parents were strongly against their marriage.

While off the coast Lebedyna surrounded by ancient beech forests, which on all sides surrounded the water surface, you can understand why it involves so many folk legends. Here's a special atmosphere, this place seemed shrouded in a haze of romance, mystery.
