House of Nicolaus Copernicus Museum, located in the Old Town of toruń, in two buildings, one of which is considered the birthplace of Nicolaus Copernicus. The house of Copernicus is included with the Torun regional Museum and is an important tourist attraction of the city.

It is known that the house No. 17 belonged to the family of Copernico with 1464. In the eighties of the fifteenth century father of Nicolaus Copernicus rebuilt the building in the late Gothic style. After the Museum was opened in June 1960, there were made restoration work, during which the building was returned to its original medieval appearance.
