“Maretarium is a unique aquarium of enormous size, where in the natural environment is home to over 50 species of fish and shellfish, introducing visitors to the marine environment of the Baltic sea and Finnish waters in accordance with the change of seasons.

Maretarium consists of 22 special aquariums, the largest of which – Baltic – reaches 7m in depth. In the Maritime theatre daily amazing dive scuba diver feeding the fish. Winter in the aquarium at bulldog light appears on the offspring, and in the summer I smelt.

In the School of nature “haili” are informative classes for students with sightseeing nature walks.

In the newly open terrariums settled lizards, snakes, frogs and aquatic insects collected in the collection well-known Finnish biologist Ilkka Koivisto.
