Near the castle is the Central square of Kromeriz – velké in the place. The rectangular area was once a place where fairs were held. Around her, in fact, the city was built, it was and remains the heart of the old quarter of Kromeriz. Its area is 1 hectare.

But in the peace and quiet daytime hours need not to miss the opportunity to take a closer look. Here you can see the town hall, built in 1668. This is a very colorful building in the Renaissance style is replicated on many local postcards. The seat of the magistrate of the city, miraculously not damaged by the allied armies and fires, therefore, came to our days without any significant change.
