The Jested hill seen from afar. And although it reaches a height of only 1012 meters, it is decorated with an unusual structure, resembling either the Eastern pagoda, whether ultramodern spaceship. Actually this tower, in the building which housed a small hotel.

Mountain Jested was popular with the locals for a long time, due to its location and beautiful views from its summit. That's why the enterprising Czechs built a wooden Chalet to house a café and a hotel. Near gave up sledge hill, and organized a viewing platform for everyone.

In 1963, the unexpected happened: all the buildings burned down, on the mountain became uncomfortable and deserted. However, this still came as travelers. Then the locals have decided that you want to improve territory and earn money on tourists. For the construction of the new building was invited Karel Hubacek. He created an amazing building that was fashionable and prestigious architectural prize.

The construction of the tower lasted 10 years and was opened to the public in 1973.

In the structure on the mountain with a height of 100 meters can go to any traveler. Besides the hotel there are a restaurant and cafes. After lunch you can climb the steps to the observation deck. It offers a great view over the nature reserve Jested.

At the foot of the TV tower, which is also the point where the equipment is local mobile operators, bicycles on which to explore the surrounding area.
