It is a green spot on the map of London was formed by accident in the middle of the XIX century on the Isle of dogs built dock, and selected during excavation of the silt was taken to the nearby hills. The silt was fertile, the hills bloomed, formed a wild Park, where walking family port workers. During the Second world then hid heavy anti-aircraft guns and radar, defending the city. In 1974, the town Council gave permission for construction of a Park of skyscrapers, but the locals protested and defended a piece of nature. Now here on sixteen acres of Park and farm.

Farm Malchut" refers to livestock. It gathered a collection of rare British breeds – more than 200 animals and birds. Large animals (horses, ponies, cows, llamas, alpacas, sheep, goats) graze on spacious meadows. Smaller livestock (rabbits, chipmunks, ferrets) lives close to the main yard, in the Corner allowed.

Adults and children can freely communicate with animals, which such contact is used and people are treated favorably. You can go to the big corral and pet elegant Lamu – she readily accepts affection (though, if they feel threatened, spit at the enemy smelly saliva). Unusual looks Jacob sheep – they have four horns. Equally unusual black huge Anglo-Nubian goats with their drooping ears. Children cling to the African dwarf goats, in Britain even keep as Pets. In a bird cage Chinese live quail, Golden pheasants, ducks, the Mandarin (not counting, of course, a variety of chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys). In the stables about 25 horses and ponies – it offers horse riding lessons to adults and children.

Freedom of access to animals – farm policy, seeking to preserve for the citizens the possibility of contact with nature. There was no way to expel people, just come to the picnic – on the contrary, this holiday is encouraged. You can, however, enjoy a lunch of local produce in the Kitchen Malchut": tables set right in the yard, in full view of grazing horses and sheep.

There is a farm largely thanks to local volunteers, including students, who are willing to assume some of the rural work: caring for horses, feeding and walking animals. "Malchut" is not the only farm in the city of London, not less than ten.

Come in the first half of the day: animals your routine, at about 16: 00 they go to bed, and they will not communicate.
