The Goldenberg mansion, built in the 19th century for the family Eugster, from 1897 to 1898, he served as the headquarters of the Spanish Navy. When the Philippines came the Americans, the house was the residence of the military Governor Arthur MacArthur, father of the famous General Douglas MacArthur. Here held a historic meeting of the Senate of the Philippines in 1916.

Later the house was bought by the manufacturer of cosmetics Michael Goldenberg, on behalf of which the house is known to this day. And in 1966, during the reign of President Marcos, the house was bought by the Philippine Government. His restoration conducted Leandro Locsin, favourite architect of the First Lady Imelda Marcos, he decorated the house with antique furniture, ceramics and books from around the world. Still in the Goldenberg mansion held an official government ceremony. Unfortunately, public access to the house is limited, and few are able to see artifacts like the Chinese furniture, are made of jade, European chandeliers, rare Philippine books and even prehistoric pieces of pottery of Thailand.
