Plaka is one of the most beautiful and popular beaches of Naxos. It is located on the West coast of the island at about 8-9 km from Naxos town (the capital of the island).

Plaka beach is one of the biggest beaches of the island, stretching over 4 km. Only a small part of the beach is equipped with sun loungers and parasols. In this section you will find some great beach bars and taverns. In the surroundings of beach has a good enough choice of accommodation – cosy hotels, comfortable apartments and rooms for rent.

Active guests can enjoy various water sports (Windsurfing, kitesurfing, water skiing, etc.), as well as beach volleyball. All necessary equipment can be rented. If necessary, you can also use the services of professional instructors.

Plaka beach is popular with nudists (especially its southern part).
