In the Western part of the small village of Pera Chorio, which is just 15 kilometres South of Nicosia, lies the small Church of the Holy Apostles, which is one of the many attractions of the area. The Church or even a chapel was erected in the XII century during the reign of the island francs. For its construction were used the stone blocks, produced directly near the village.
