Lutheran cemetery in Polotsk was founded, presumably, in the eighteenth century. The oldest surviving burial – monument Starngers dates back to the year 1796.

The monument, which does not leave anyone indifferent – grave private nurses 849 rifle regiment (303 rifle division, 60th army) Zenaida Tuscaloosa. In just 8 months of the war, this heroic woman was rescued 128 wounded, brought them from the battlefields under fascist bullets. In February of 1943 at Kursk it was wounded and frostbitten limbs. The doctors saved her life, but amputated hands and feet. For his unparalleled heroism Zinaida Tuscaloosa was awarded the star of the Hero, the Order of Lenin and the gold Star medal. At the grave Tuscaloosa always fresh flowers.
