According to legend, the village Vybuty is the homeland of the Holy equal to the apostles Grand Duchess Olga. The churchyard is located 15 km from the city of Pskov, up the great river. In this place is particularly important for the whole city Brod, which population is even up to the present time. In the old days the townspeople were sent here long gate in order to close the most important position of Pskov.

Near the village of Vybuty the locals show the younger generations the so-called "Olginsky": Olgeni gate, Holguin stone, Holguin Palace, Algini of Cloudy and Holguin Church. Located on the shores of the great river source is called Holguin key, and its waters have long been considered medicinal.

In addition, in the village, on the right Bank of the river there is a Church named St. Elias. The Church was built in the 15th century from the plate. The Church bell tower was built a two-span during 16-17 centuries. According to some it is supposed that on this spot formerly stood the ancient temple.

The Elias Church bell tower built of stone, and on it there are four bells, each of which is signed. During 1875 cold and low capacity of the chapel, consecrated in the name of St. Nicholas was rebuilt on the funds of the congregation in a warm, increasing by half its space; the Church portico was also increased. Elijah Church had two altars, the main of which was the porch, consecrated in the name of the Holy prophet of God Elias; a second side or sanctified in the name of miracle and Saint Nicholas. Near the building of the Church is an ancient cemetery.

In March 1896, the opening of a parish patronage. By 1902, the Church worked temperance society, named in honor of the great Martyr Saint Panteleimon. In January 1908 the brotherhood was founded in honor of Jesus Christ for providing the necessary assistance to the ailing parishioners. Almshouses and hospitals in the parish did not exist, it only worked two Zemstvo school. In Soviet times, the Church of Elijah was closed. During the great Patriotic war the Church was badly damaged. In the period from 1955 to 1957 were carried out the restoration of the temple by the architect V. P. Smirnov.

The first services in the Church began only in 1999. At the moment, the Church held worship services on Saturdays and Sundays, and on holidays, Church days. Olginsky chapel today destroyed. According to the blessing of Metropolitan of Pskov and Velikoluksky Eusebius, in may 1999, the rector of the Church Archpriest Oleg Teor, serving in the Church of St. Alexander Nevsky in Pskov. During the restoration works the most active participation was accepted cadets from the police Academy, as well as the soldiers in the Pskov garrison.

In a small area in front of the temple of Elijah in 1993 was set for a memorable sign, representing a granite stone with a small sign that indicated that the Vybuty are the birthplace of Princess Olga.

One kilometer from the Church of Elijah, closer to the North-Eastern part, there is the historic basis of previously existing Holguin stone, which was demolished in the 20th century. At the moment near his remains installed pyramidal memorial, lined with boulders and topped with a large iron cross. During 1888 archaeological society of the city of Pskov, near the churchyard, in the place where formerly located Holguin stone, was erected a chapel, erected in honor of the 1,000 th anniversary of Princess Olga, as well as the 900th anniversary of the Baptism of Rus by Prince Vladimir. In the room of the chapel set the icon of St. Vladimir and St. Olga.

A little below the village the Great river divided into two streams by means of small Islands. Right river the sleeve is called "Algini gate" - it has a rocky bottom and is very shallow; left sleeve is called "Algini of cloudy", named due to the layers of limestone on the riverbed, while sluda denotes a "gotcha". If you believe the legend, it was here and there was a meeting of Prince Igor and his future wife Olga.
