According to legend, the village Vybuty is the homeland of the Holy equal to the apostles Grand Duchess Olga. The churchyard is located 15 km from the city of Pskov, up the great river. In this place is particularly important for the whole city Brod, which population is even up to the present time. In the old days the townspeople were sent here long gate in order to close the most important position of Pskov.

A little below the village the Great river divided into two streams by means of small Islands.
