The temple of the Holy priest-Martyr Clement, Pope and Patriarch Peter of Alexandria is located in Olginskaya waterfront in Pskov. The most common name of the Church – the Church of St. Clement and Peter.
The Church was formerly the Church of the convent. At what time and by whom the Church was begun is unknown. In the selection round and the cadasters 1585-1857, he was often referred to as "Clement monastery from the city of Pskov from Zavelichie". In the records for 1615 mentions that the Church was plundered by Swedish troops, but soon recovered again.
In the early 18th century the monastery was closed again, and the Church attributed to the bishops ' home. The very first brief description of the Church is dated to 1763, when the Church of St. Clement and Peter was assigned to the Pontifical house. In this period, the Church was described as stone and covered with boards, and the head was covered with scales. On made of stone bell tower hung four small brass bell. The temple had transoms three-tiered iconostasis. Since the late 18th century and the early 20th century, clergy and statements tell us about the temple briefly. By the 19th century, the temple is very much decayed, in the vaults and walls and there were numerous deep cracks, and the service is completely stopped, while not having arrival. According to records from 1837, the Church was listed as two altar, robust, although not having the bell tower; at the entrance to the Church were on the bells in between two stone pillars. Apparently, in the 19th century, completely rebuilt the porch and the porch, disassembled gallery located on the North side, as well as a disassembled multi hipped roof, now converted into a hipped roof. Restoration work at that time was not conducted. The Church of St. Clement and Peter stands on a steep river Bank and is a domed-cross, four-column and three-apse temple, Dating back to the heyday of architectural schools of the city of Pskov. The main cubic volume of the Church is unusual for a high plinth, with a semi-cylindrical apse, which on the East side topped by a cylindrical drum with the old hemispherical dome shape, and above it there is a small spherical dome with four-point cross, Dating back to the 17th century. From the Western part to adjoin later made the porch and the porch and the South side of the temple with a decorative drum and small faceted cupola. Traditional three-part division as blades have facades of the quadrangle, and the upper parts of the facades are cut using a hipped roof, which suggests that in ancient times the roof was multi hipped.
