Everyone who comes to Cuba, we recommend you to visit the city of Santa Clara, province of Villa Clara, is the world famous memorial to the popular pet Ardent Ernesto Che Guevara. The complex is just a kilometre from the city centre on Avenue de Los Desfiles. The famous multi-meter bronze statue depicts Comandante with plastered hand, which he broke during the battle. At the base of the monument, the mausoleum houses the remains of revolutionary. As you know, he was captured in Bolivia, where he was tortured and killed in 1967. Only a decade later the remains of Ernesto were found, after which they are buried here in Santa Clara.
