The construction of the 35th coastal battery in Sevastopol began in 1912 under the Imperial decree, but because of the First world war, the process was interrupted. During the occupation of the city in the surviving casemates of the battery was equipped command post of the commander of the German seventeenth army General K. Allmendinger and the hospital. In may 1944 the battery was freed.
