The kołobrzeg lighthouse with a height of 26 meters, located on the Polish coast of the Baltic sea in kołobrzeg.

The first lighthouse was lit in Kolobrzeg in 1666. Old beacon of light does not always and only while waiting for the arrival of the ships. After two hundred years appeared in the city a beacon with a constant light. In 1945 German sappers blew up the lighthouse because he was a hindrance during hostilities. A new lighthouse was built on the foundations of an old Fort at the entrance to the port of kołobrzeg. In 1979-1981 year was an overhaul of the lighthouse.

Currently the lighthouse is a circular tower of red brick with a height of 26 meters with lantern and double gallery. The lantern rises over the lighthouse on eight pillars. Lantern and gallery, painted white. White beam of light with an interval of 2 seconds for 16 nautical miles.

In 2007 Polish post issued a stamp depicting the kołobrzeg lighthouse.

The lighthouse is a popular tourist destination. It is open to the public, and the gallery offers a magnificent view of the city and the sea.
