Desert Park Sharjah is a unique Park-Museum of wildlife. It is located 28 kilometers from the city. The total area of this wildlife area is one square kilometer. The desert Park was created in 1995 with the Main purpose of its establishment is to protect endangered species of animals living in this aura.

The Park is located several educational centers: the Botanical Museum, the Museum of natural science, children's farm, wildlife center of Arabia and breeding centre. Visiting the natural history Museum, you can learn many interesting facts about the natural history of this region. The Museum recreates the ecosystem of deserts and seas, here you can find prehistoric fossils and many other unique exhibits. In total, there are five thematic exhibitions, namely: "Life on earth", "Life in the desert," "Life at sea", "Journey through Sharjah" and "time Travel".

The wildlife center of Arabia is a zoo, some representatives of fauna of the region: the Arabian leopard, sand cat, hyena, spider-camel, baboon and poisonous snakes. Only the center is home to about 100 species of animals. Young visitors will have a great time, visiting a Children's Farm where you can learn about local animals.

Today, the desert Park Sharjah is a favorite spot not only for tourists but also locals. On its territory there are all necessary conditions for a perfect holiday. There are designated picnic areas, several cozy cafes and shops where you can buy Souvenirs.
