Banana beach is one of the most popular and beautiful beaches of the Greek island of Skiathos. It is located on the southwest coast of the island in a picturesque, just lush green natural Bay, about 12 km from Skiathos town and 1 km from the famous beach of Koukounaries centre. Despite the fact that this place is better known as the "Banana beach", officially the beach is called "Crassus", but today, it is almost never used.

Banana beach, in fact, consists of two separate magnificent beaches of fine Golden sand, separated only by a rocky formation – so-called Big and Small Banana. Both beaches are well organized. Here you will find sun loungers and sun umbrellas, a few beach bars and tavernas where you can have a great freshen up and eat, as well as plenty of entertainment. The beaches of Banana are one of the largest water sports centres on the island of Skiathos. It is also one of the best places on the island for Windsurfing.

A large Banana, or Banana, is famous for its beach parties and is very popular (especially among youth), so it is always crowded and noisy. Loud music here does not subside almost from morning to late evening.

Small Banana - a quiet and secluded beach, but has its own specifics. This is the only official nudist beach of Skiathos and one of the most famous nudist beaches not only in Greece but also in Europe.

In the immediate vicinity of the beach home you will not find, but can comfortably accommodate in a nearby Koukounaries.

North of Banana beach is another wonderful beach of Skiathos beach of St. Helena.
