Villa Vera is located in the historical part of the city of Sochi and is a monument of regional significance.

In October 1872, a Moscow merchant of the first Guild Nikolay Mamontov built here for his daughter Faith is a beautiful wooden cottage. Faith was very ill, so was limited in movement. Near the mansion of the merchant planted a garden with different fruit trees and fruit trees, planted flowers and shrubs. The entire Villa is just buried in verdure.

After the revolution the estate of Kostenevich nationalized, from January to July 1918 it housed the revolutionary Executive Committee of the Soviet of workers', soldiers 'and peasants' deputies of the Sochi district. From 1943 to 1946 it housed in the evacuation hospitals and sanatorium named tsyurupy. In the 1960s, after the sanatorium was transferred to another room, area of which was Villa, redesigned and reconstructed, began land redistribution. Until 1992, the building housed the Sochi schoolchildren's Palace and the pioneers, and from 1992 to present day - the Sochi city center of extracurricular activities.
