National Park "Kanangra-Boyd" (Kanangra-Boyd National park) is located 100 km West of Sydney on the site of the world Natural Heritage of UNESCO "the Great Blue Mountains. The most famous sights of the national Park is a 150 – metre waterfalls of Kanangra falls and plumb Wall Kanangra. The latter often appeared in various adventure films.
In the Park "Kanangra-Boyd" there are two kinds of landscapes – majestic hilly plateau Boyd and countryside, rugged rivers, gorges and mountain ranges. Plateau crosses the road Kanangra Walls, so get to the Park from the town of Oberon, and the famous Canalaska Caves. Among other well known attractions of the Park is mount Cloudmaker and sharp peaks Turat.
In the Park there are several Hiking trails, including Trail Review – the most accessible, including for people in a wheelchair. The 10-minute path leads to the observation deck, which offers stunning views of deep gorges, mountain top Cloudmaker and Blue Mountains in the distance. From another viewpoint you can admire the waterfalls of Kanangra falls. From here on a special trail to descend into the valley, where waterfalls cascade into the pond. And the Trail on the Plateau, starting at the main observation deck, you can get extensive plateau Boyd, Heather.
