House of dragons is a well – preserved part of a large holiday complex, so-called "White Villa", and is 500 metres Northwest of the main building. Two-story stucco House of dragons, like the Villa itself, is considered a shining example of Prussian Neoclassicism of the early 19th century.

In 1819 Lord mayor of Trier Wilhelm von HOU bought the land on which began in 1823 to build your private Villa. On a small plot, which belonged originally to the monastery of St. Mary, in 1829 the House was built dragons intended for economic needs of the country complex. Its unusual name of the house was a few years after construction, when on its roof in the corners were installed two copper figures of dragons. Previously they decorated the gutter Trier hall.

After the death of Wilhelm von Howe in 1862, land with all buildings was purchased by the Governor of Luxembourg, Prince Henry of the Netherlands, and the House of dragons began to serve as a dwelling for his Forester. Later, the building came into the possession of the city and was used as an apartment house. Today, the building is in a protected state reserve, consisting of 1400 acres of town forest. Its production courtyard is used for household needs forestry, and 4 apartments dragon Houses are rented. Near the building there is a wooden forest Museum sightseeing trail and a deer Park.
