The house-Museum of the famous artist A. A. Kiselev in the resort town of Tuapse was opened on 8 may 1994 In the city landscape painter lived for eleven years. His dacha was located in the vicinity of the resort on a beautiful cliff, also called by his name. Among all the figures of Russian culture, involved in the story Tuapse, A. A. Kiselev is in the first place. Tuapse motifs in the artist's work first appeared at the junction of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.

In 2002, after major repairs in the house-Museum of A. A. Kiselev created new exhibition, presented in four halls: the first hall - a study of the artist, the second music room, third - dining room and the fourth room - the artist's Studio. Today in the house-Museum contains over 5,500 artifacts, 4,000 of which are objects of the main Fund.

In the exposition of the Museum house, based on a rigorous factual basis presented things Alexander Alexandrovich and his family members. Each exhibit is the subject of the creative process or home appliances.

In the living room that hosted family night, A. Kiselev took people's artist of the Republic K. N. Igumnov, well-known landscape painter N. N. Dubovsky, sculptor V. A. Beklemishev and many other artists. In the exposition of the house Museum presents sketches and paintings Kiseleva, photos, documents, household items mid XIX – early XX century, which convey the atmosphere of creativity, kindness and love that reigned in the house of artist and landscape painter. There are also exposed picture of the son and pupil of the artist - N. And. Kiselyov. Many original paintings and the materials were transferred to the city by the grandson of the artist S. V. Kiselev.

Museum staff are busy gathering, storage, study of the artistic heritage of Alexander Alexandrovich, outreach and educational activities. In the house-Museum of A. A. Kiselev held a variety of thematic and musical events dedicated to the life and creative activity of the artist.
