Valdisotto is a popular ski resort located at an altitude of 1200 metres above sea level and 55 km from Sondrio. On its territory's resident population is about 3, 5 thousand people.

Valdisotto, a so-called region Bassa Valtellina, is the original entrance gate to the mountain landscapes of Bormio. Continuous forest covering the valley floor and the slopes of the mountains, crossed by numerous scenic trails that lead to the pastures and observation points that offer breathtaking views. In the territory of Valdisotto includes the tiny village of Cepina, Yeah, Platte, Piazza, Santa Lucia, and Tola. The most famous is Cepina, located a few kilometers from Bormio, in the valley of the river Adda.

Winter Valdisotto is transformed into a prestigious ski resort. Here you can slide down from the slopes of Monte Vallecetta (300 meters), Bormio 200 and quick (1580 m). Numerous hotels are always ready to receive visitors, and in restaurants you can taste the delicacies of local cuisine. A few kilometers from Valdisotto you can do other sports – tennis, swimming, horse-riding, skating or mountain tourism.

In the summer the whole territory Valdisotto is a perfect place for Hiking and mountain Biking on the slopes of Monte Vallecetta and Chimi Piazzi. Another popular form of summer recreation for children and adults is the karting fun is combined with absolute safety. In nearby Bormio is nine Golf courses, tennis courts, swimming pool, basketball court and Playground for beach volleyball.
