The building, which is an architectural monument of the old Tsaritsyn, was built in (1897 - 1903) and belonged to a family of merchants Repnikova. The mansion was used for the reception of distinguished guests (bishops, governors, etc.) coming to the city. After the revolution moved into the building the headquarters of the defense of Tsaritsyn Council, later reorganized in Tsaritsyno provincial military Commissariat.
