Aalborg historical Museum is a Museum of historical and cultural heritage of the city of Aalborg in Denmark. The Museum was founded in 1863.

The historical Museum was created to tell the story of the city and surrounding lands, to talk about the events that took place over the last Millennium. Founded in 1863, this Museum became one of the youngest provincial museums of Denmark. Its present form, the Museum has acquired in 1878. At the beginning of the 1890s it was expanded to accommodate a growing collection of exhibits illustrating the history from the first inhabitants of these places to the present day.

The Museum features an extensive collection of clothing items and other things from fabric, Dating back to the 18th century, and presents and later exhibits up-to-date. In the 1950s, Aalborg Historical Museum conducted a series of archaeological excavations in 1994 and 1995 excavations was repeated, giving the opportunity to receive new collections.

In 2004, several organizations have gathered together to form the Northern Historical Museum Jutland. The Museum is operated by 12 members of the Committee, which, in turn, consists of members of organizations, who founded the Museum.
