Aboriginal culture Centre of Australia in the town of Alice springs was founded by natives of the tribe "arrernte". Exposition center, telling about the life of the indigenous inhabitants of Australia, is located in a small and cozy Museum. Here you can learn about aboriginal life from the moment of first contact with Europeans, to get acquainted with their art, to try to play a traditional musical instrument "didgeridoo" and to buy hand-made Souvenirs. For nearly 40 thousand years, the place where Alice springs was a meeting place for aboriginal people, where they exchanged everyday objects, knowledge, created together works of art and culture. And these traditions are still alive – you can see them in a unique Center that supports the unique way of life of indigenous Australians. The community itself tribe "arrernte" based in 80 km to the South of the city, and the centre was established to provide aboriginal employment, infrastructure development and providing them shelter. Today, more than 100 members of the tribe on an ongoing basis collaborate with the center – paint, create crafts, Souvenirs and other goods.
