Villa of Emperor Franz Joseph I is close to the centre of the city on the North Bank of the river. Franz Joseph I loved your Villa and lived here almost every summer for 60 years. It was here on 1 August 1914 he signed the Declaration of war with Serbia, which became the starting point of the First World war.

In 1857, by order of the Emperor to the main building were added two side wings in the style of classicism. Now here is the Museum of the Emperor, where you can see his personal belongings and hunting trophies.
