The Museum was founded in 1874 and is the largest in South-East Asian works of art and archaeological finds. Here you'll learn the history and culture of Thailand.

The national Museum occupies several buildings: a Palace Varna, built for the brother of king Rama I; Red house of the XVIII century former Palace of Princess soo Sadarak and temple Phutthaisawan built specifically for the storage of Buddha statues Sighing.
