"Bayvi-Dupki-Gingerita" is the most famous reserve, which is part of the Bulgarian National Park "Pirin". This area was declared a protected area in 1934 with the aim of preserving rare forests of black and Balkan white pine, as well as to maintain a diversity of other animal and plant species inhabiting a given territory.

Like many other reserves in Bulgaria "Bayvi-Dupki" protected program "Man and biosphere" (UNESCO).

This reserve is located between the peaks of Banski-Sukhodol and Pirin mountains, also includes the area of Komarnica, peaks Razlozhki-Sukhodol, Kamenitza, Part-Tepe, Okuden and the valley of the biała River. The area of the reserve is $ 2873 ha.

On this territory there are about 500 species of plants, some of them are listed in the Bulgarian Red book, in addition to many European and world programme for the protection of the environment. This is not surprising, because in "Bayvi-Dupki" trail: from the Pyrenees mountains to the Peloponnese. The circular route takes in part of the Park "Pirin", where is the "Bayvi-Dupki".

The symbol "Bayvi-Dupki" is considered Rupicapra rupicapra - Balkan chamois.
