Montjuic is located on the Mediterranean coast, in the southern part of the city of Barcelona and is situated at altitude of 200m above sea level. The name montjuïc is translated as "Jewish mountain", perhaps because one of its slopes is an old Jewish cemetery.

Montjuic hill is not only a beautiful place, which offers a beautiful panorama of Barcelona, is also a significant historical and cultural point of the city, where there are many interesting sights and places that are worth visiting.

First of all, I would like to mention the fortress of Montjuic, situated on the top of the hill. Once there was watchtower.
